Residential Footings and Foundation Construction                               2 Classroom Hours   

This two-hour, live, interactive, on-line seminar will focus on the minimum provisions for footing and foundation requirements of the 2006 IRC. Emphasis will be placed on footing sizes, reading and understanding the prescriptive foundation tables and how to apply the tables for design and what alternative designs that code recognizes. Foundation waterproofing and damproofing provisions will be explored and how the code should be applied for code compliant foundations. Learn the code provisions from an educator with more than two decades of experience in the field of building inspection.
