Window Installation and Flashing       2 Classroom Hours          

Learn the correct way to install and flash window and door openings as prescribed in the Johnson County Window Flashing and Installation brochure.  Based on ASTM E-2112, the national standard for window and door installation, your instructor will explain the science and rationale behind the development of the Window and Installation method, and discuss methods of installing, flashing and integrating windows with the weather-resistive barrier required by the 2006 IRC, in both single and double wall construction.  This class is a must for contractors, stucco and framing sub-contractors, inspectors and designers.
